It was par for the course in Valencia as the Red-Bulls stormed to yet another front row, and another pole position for Sebastian Vettel. The rest of the top 10 on the grid was made up as follows: Hamilton, Alonso, Massa, Button, Rosberg, Schumacher, Heidfeld and Sutil. An incredible 50% of the top 10 are German, including Vettel, Rosberg, Schumacher, Heidfeld and Sutil. This is one of the main points I picked up on however during qualifying. The fact that the McLaren's have been split by the Ferraris. Lewis Hamilton is able to post much quicker qualifying times than Button, which is ruining Button's race in a way as he proved in Montreal he is one of the best racers out there as he overtook Vettel on an intense climax on the final lap of the race. If he can't out-qualify the Ferraris he won't be able to use his smooth racing technique to catch the notorious Red-Bulls. In my opinion if Button is to have any hope of being in with a shout of claiming his second World Championship, he will have to tidy up his qualifying!
The race is tomorrow on BBC 1 starting at 13:00 for all you racing fans.
